Our 3-week Further Prosthetics Makeup FX Course is delivered by industry professionals who balance teaching with real-world set work. Can I enroll in a course?
You must be 18+ (except SFX Summer School for 14–17-year-olds). To enrol, arrange a studio visit or phone interview, complete the enrolment form, and pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your place.
What do the fees include?
Fees cover all materials, tools, and specialist equipment needed for the course. Full-time courses include a professional makeup and hair kit worth over £2,000, including products from Bobbi Brown, MAC, and Kryolan, which you get to keep.
Do you offer student loans or financial support?
Government student loans are not available, but we provide bursaries, scholarships, and interest-free payment plans to help fund your training. Our team can guide you on the best options for your situation.
Can I visit The Iver Makeup Academy before enrolling?
Yes! We encourage prospective students to tour our academy through private visits or open days to explore the facilities, meet tutors, and see the learning environment in action.
What is the tutor-to-student ratio?
Classes are kept small and focused, typically ranging from 1:7 to 1:14, ensuring every student receives personal attention and guidance.
What are the regular class times?
Standard courses run 10:00–16:00, Prosthetics/SFX modules run 09:30–16:30, and the academy is open 09:00–17:00 for practice, giving you plenty of time to develop your skills.
