The Iver Makeup Academy offer a free service for anyone wishing to offer our graduates paid work or work experience including Theatre, TV and Film productions, fashion and beauty shoots or events.

Our graduates range in experience from newly qualified to experienced makeup and hair designers.

Looking for work as Makeup Artist

So you’re freshly qualified and looking to gain great experience in the industry. We can help you find vital industry experience with the support of our Iver Agency team.

Once you graduate from one of our full time courses, you will be signed up with our agency, where we’ll help you to find work experience, short placements or paid work to consolidate your skills and get hands-on work in real industry roles. Our agency team offers this service free of charge to all Iver Makeup Academy graduates, and it is available to our current and previous students for as long as they need it!

Opportunities

Our opportunities include TV, film,events,pop promos,student films, theatre productions and events. From short placements shadowing an artist on a feature film or television production, to working on makeup and hair as the sole artist on photo shoots,events and student films . Work experience for students is often available during the course itself, and these opportunities continue through the agency once the course has ended.

The Academy has the right to remove any graduate from the agency should they behave in a manner that will damage the reputation of the academy.

Our Services

Our services cover the breadth of the industry from TV and media makeup artists, to period wig and hair artists, to highly motivated and creative prosthetic and airbrushing artists.

Booking a makeup artist

Have an upcoming job? Let us know which makeup and hair skills you require and we will happily send you a selection of CVs to give you a taste of our artists’ capabilities.

You can book our makeup and hair artists for publications, events, films and other productions. If you need an artist with a particular skill then we hand pick the best artist for the job, looking at their previous training and experience to make sure you have the right artist to match your requirements.

Joining the agency

Our agency is only available to graduates of full-time courses at The Iver Makeup Academy, because we like to be able to testify first-hand for their skills and expertise. We can only recommend artists that we know and can vouch for; and as we have trained all of the artists on our books ourselves we have excellent knowledge of their strengths and skills.

Whilst we cannot guarantee work through our agency, our incredible production links and our network of tutors who all actively work in the industry mean there are always opportunities for makeup artists to work on exciting projects in TV, film, fashion and theatre.

Work Experience

Our work experience roles often come to us through past students and industry connections but our students are always in need of excellent shadowing opportunities to give them vital experience.
