How the Online Makeup Courses Work
Your Access
You will have 12 months of full access to your chosen course. This includes our complete training library, along with complimentary access to the Behind Beauty library, giving you even more techniques, inspiration and professional insight to explore.
How the Course Works
You can work through the video lessons at your own pace and practise at a time that suits you. When you feel ready, photograph your work at different stages including before, midway and after, then upload your images to the Google Classroom link provided in your welcome email.
You will be asked to submit four practical assignments for each module, designed to help you build and demonstrate your skills.
Example assignments include:
- Character Creation including skin injury breakdowns, bruising and prosthetic application
- Ageing
- Bald Caps
- Tattoo Cover
Assessment and Certification
You will be provided with a Google Classroom code where you can upload your work. Once submitted, an IMA tutor will review your progress and invite you to a live in-person feedback session.
This session is designed to support your development, offering personalised guidance and helping you refine your techniques. Following this, you will have the opportunity to improve and resubmit your work if required.
We allow up to two submissions, giving you the chance to apply feedback and demonstrate your progress.
After successfully passing all assignments, you will be awarded your digital certificate from The Iver Makeup Academy.
Submitting assignments is not mandatory. However, we are unable to issue a certificate unless your work has been reviewed and approved by one of our IMA tutors.
