Goodbye 2025, Hello 2026!

As we come to the end of another exciting year at The Iver Makeup Academy, we’re taking a moment to reflect on everything we’ve achieved, learned, and created together. From welcoming new students into the academy to expanding our education, content, and community, this year has been one of growth, creativity, and passion for the art of makeup and hair.

Celebrating Our Students

This year, we’ve had the privilege of working with incredible groups of students, each bringing their own creativity, ambition, and unique style into the academy. Watching our students grow in confidence, skill, and professionalism has been one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

From first-day nerves to final filming projects they’re proud to add to their portfolios, every module has reminded us why we’re so passionate about education. Seeing our graduates go on to assist on shoots, work on sets and take their first steps into the industry is something we never take for granted.

We are especially proud to celebrate the success of our graduates who secured work on major productions this year, including Harry Potter, Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney projects as well as titles such as Wicked: For Good, The Conjuring: Last Rites, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, Cleaner, Snow White, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, 28 Years Later, Steve, Hedda, and Nuremberg to name a few.

Seeing our artists contribute to productions of this scale is a powerful reminder of what’s possible with the right training, dedication, and industry insight. Seeing our artists working on world-class sets and productions is a true reflection of the standard of education and dedication within the academy.

Celebrating 10 Years of Iver Makeup Academy

This year marked a huge milestone for us — 10 years of The Iver Makeup Academy. A decade of education, creativity, growth, and passion for makeup artistry.

Over the past ten years, we’ve trained hundreds of artists, built a supportive creative community, and established an academy rooted in real industry experience. Celebrating this anniversary reminded us how far we’ve come — and how excited we are for what’s still ahead.

Education That Evolves with the Industry

The makeup and hair industry never stands still — and neither do we. This year, we continued to refine and elevate our courses to ensure our students are learning techniques that are current, relevant, and in demand.

Our goal has always been to prepare artists not just to pass a course, but to thrive in the real world — and this year we’re proud of how our education has continued to evolve.

Growing Our Online Community

This year also marked exciting growth across our social platforms. Sharing behind-the-scenes moments, student work, tips, and real academy life has allowed us to connect with a wider audience than ever before.

We loved showing the real side of makeup education — the hard work, the laughs, the learning curves, and the wins. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or found us this year, your support, likes, comments, and messages mean more than you know!

Open Days & Futures Festival

This year, our Open Days, Taster Workshops & Futures Festival played a huge role in connecting with aspiring makeup and hair artists and giving them a real insight into life at Iver Makeup Academy. From meeting our educators and students to exploring our courses, facilities, and career pathways, these events allowed visitors to experience the academy beyond social media.

The Futures Festival was a standout moment — bringing together creativity, education, and industry inspiration in one space. Seeing future artists engage, ask questions, and envision their place in the industry was a reminder of the impact these events have, not just on recruitment, but on shaping confidence and direction.

Looking Ahead to the New Year

As we head into the new year, we’re more excited than ever for what’s to come. We have big plans, fresh ideas, and new goals — all with the same mission at the heart of everything we do: to educate, empower, and inspire the next generation of makeup artists.
