Eye Eye its Further Prosthetics

Friday, January 22, 2016

In Studio C, Iver Academy students enjoyed 2 weeks of Further Prosthetics which is a different kind of make up skill to learn.

Week one with tutor Stuart Bray was teaching face casting and sculpting wounds and application of silicone pieces.

Week two with tutor Rob Whitehead, student made their own eye, and moved on to making fibreglass moulds before assembling a blood rig.

It can be a messy process as you can probably see from the studio and the fact that protective suits are worn, but we think the students learnt a lot.
