Enrolment for 2027 and Beyond

As we look ahead to another exciting year at The Iver Makeup Academy, we’re already preparing to welcome the next generation of talented makeup artists in 2027. Every year, we see aspiring creatives walk through our doors with passion, ambition and a dream of turning their love for makeup into a career  and many leave with the skills, confidence and industry knowledge to make it happen.

If you’ve ever thought about working in film, television, theatre, fashion or creative makeup, now is the perfect time to start your journey.

Wondering how to join one of our 2027 courses? Here’s what the application process looks like:

Meet with Principal Liz Tagg

Your journey begins with a either an in person or Zoom consultation with our Principal,  Liz Tagg. During your conversation, Liz will guide you through our range of courses and help identify the pathway best suited to your interests, experience and long-term goals.

This is your opportunity to ask questions, gain valuable insight into the industry, and discover where your training could take you after graduation.

Portfolio Submission

As part of the application process, we ask you to submit a portfolio showcasing your artistic work. This can include makeup, hair, art, design, photography, illustration, textiles, or any other creative discipline that demonstrates your artistic ability and visual awareness.

Your portfolio helps us understand your creative interests, artistic potential, and suitability for the programme. A strong artistic eye is essential, and we look for evidence of how you observe, interpret, and communicate ideas visually.

Don’t have a portfolio yet? Our Taster Days offer a great introduction to life at The Iver Makeup Academy, helping you develop creative skills, explore artistic techniques, and begin building work that can contribute to your portfolio.

Receive Your Course Offer

Following your consultation and portfolio assessment, successful applicants will be offered a place on one of our courses, subject to availability. We’ll work closely with you to ensure the course you choose supports your ambitions and future career goals.

Visit Us at an Open Day

Our Open Days are a fantastic way to experience the academy before applying. Meet tutors, speak with graduates and current students, explore our facilities and watch live demonstrations that give you a real feel for life at The Iver Makeup Academy.

Can’t make an Open Day? Our Open Days are also live streamed over on our Instagram so you can watch from wherever you are in the world!

We can also arrange a private tour around your schedule.

Everything You Need to Start Your Journey

When you enrol at The Iver Makeup Academy, you don’t need to worry about purchasing products or equipment separately. We provide everything you need to learn and grow from day one.

Students joining our full-time courses of 15 weeks or more receive a professional makeup kit curated by our award-winning tutors. Packed with industry-recognised brands including Mac, Kryolan, MyKitCo, Denman and Inglot, your kit contains the essential tools needed to begin your career as a professional makeup artist.

Get Connected Before You Even Start

Once you’ve enrolled onto your course, you’ll be added to your class WhatsApp group, giving you the opportunity to connect with your fellow classmates before your course begins.

This is a great space to introduce yourself, get to know the people you’ll be learning alongside, discuss accommodation arrangements if you’re travelling from further afield, and chat about your plans and excitement leading up to your start date.

Starting something new can feel like a big step, which is why we aim to create a supportive and welcoming environment from the very beginning. By the time you walk through our doors on your first day, you’ll already feel part of The Iver Makeup Academy community.

At The Iver Makeup Academy, you’re not simply joining a course you’re becoming part of a creative community dedicated to helping you develop your skills, build your confidence and prepare for a career within the industry.

2027 course places are now open, and early applications are recommended due to limited availability.
