As a child I grew up in the theatre, always in the school plays and dancing since the age of 3. However, in my last few years in high school I realised I loved the behind the scenes work that went into making the productions happen, and I knew that I wanted to be working backstage rather than on it. I was watching Call The Midwife and loved how the make up team would transform modern actors into period characters and making injuries look real and I was hooked. 5 years later, I have a 30-week Advanced Certificate in Hair and Makeup from The Iver Makeup Academy based at Pinewood Studios and I am also a fully qualified hairdresser to a VTCT level 3. I also have 6 year’s experience in volunteer work and face to face customer services at my dance school.
