Beth Simmonds

I have experience as both a main team and crowd trainee on large scale productions as well as in theatre.
I have worked in a variety of projects from regency period, to modern period 1940-2015 and bald cap, body paint and prosthetic application. I have been fortunate enough to be very hands on and even being given my own cast members to make-up and look after on set. I was able to do this alongside my usual trainee duties, paperwork and continuity and maintaining the covid safe cleanliness on the buses/ Tent.

I have been on a UK and Ireland theatre tour for the past 9 months as a wig assistant on a show of 50+ wigs . My plot also included all facial hair application, upkeep and tattoo cover. I have several quick changes in this very fast paced show, I’ve learnt to think on my feet, work well under pressure as well as working on my wig dressing, maintenance and application.
I am an extremely hard worker and really enjoy my job, aiming to bring positivity to anything I do!.
