As I have recently graduated from the Iver Makeup Academy with an Advanced Hair and Makeup Certificate, I have been fortunate enough to have had some amazing opportunities to further my knowledge throughout my journey so far. I am a dedicated and diligent individual who is extremely passionate about my career in Hair and Makeup in Theatre and the Film and Television industry. I am adept to not only thriving in collaborative environments but being able to work independently, I am extremely eager to develop my skills and to be a proactive and beneficial member to any new venture. Nothing is ever too much to ask for, I am always happy to help with anything required and I always have a smile on my face!
Work Experience
“Under the Sheets” – Hair and Makeup Artist – Directed by Zoe Ellender
My role as the hair and makeup artist for “under the sheets” included designing and applying the makeup for 3 cast members. a crucial part of my role was to ensure continuity through both locations and utilizing my keen eye for detail to maintain consistent looks, especially during close-up shots.

Kings Theatre – “Dick Whittington” Pantomime Makeup Artist/ Wig Assistant
I created and designed looks for characters in a faced-paced environment, whilst communicating and working collaboratively with the cast and crewel to contribute to the overall performance.

Prosthetics with Stuart Bray and James Adams
Making and applying prosthetics involving designing, molding, casting, painting, and seamlessly attaching the prosthetic to create realistic effects for characters in and film and TV. Using products to enhance realism and matching skin tones.
3 weeks – 25th November – 13th December 2024
Fashion shoot in collaboration with Tamara Tott
Showcased my creativity in creating 4 main looks: a natural look where I enhanced my models natural features for a “clean skin campaign”, a glam look where I took a bolder approach and included dramatic elements to stand out, a smokey eye which was characterized by dark blended eyeshadow and and a “glowy” skin look where I created a flawless complexion whilst achieving a radiant and healthy glow.

Creating makeup and hairstyles for private clients under pressure and time limits to enhance their natural beauty and ensuring long-lasting flawless looks. Collaborating closely whilst understanding their vision, demonstrating strong communication skills and adaptability.

Conducted a makeup demonstration at the Shakespeare’s Globe, showcasing techniques inspired by period styles and character interpretation. Engaged with the general public and shared the importance of makeup in storytelling.

Developed and applied Special Effects Makeup techniques using silicone prosthetics to create unique character transformations for a Halloween themed photoshoot.

Created and designed imaginative looks inspired by a fanatical theme whilst working collaboratively with the production team and wardrobe. Also paying close attention to detail in a fast – paced environment.

Kings Theatre “Shrek the Musical” Makeup Artist/ Wig Assistant
Contributed to the wig and makeup design to create recognisable characters whilst adding foam prosthetics. I was part of Fiona’s 2 minute quick change team in order to transform her character by applying a foam prosthetic nose and turning her green.

Kings Theatre – “Titanic the Musical” Makeup Artist/ Wig Assistant
I created looks that reflected the early 20th-Century, focusing on period appropriate makeup and using wigs to capture the essence of time. My role included preparing hair for underneath wigs, blocking and re-styling wigs and overall bringing the historical narrative to stage.

Dance Live 2021 Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist
Responsible for designing looks for 30+ dancers in a 1940’s theme dance, demonstrating these looks and considering stage lighting, making sure each performer felt comfortable in their looks and touching looks up throughout the day.

I focused on using techniques that enhanced the performers features while considering the stage environment and ensuring looks are vibrant and effective from a distance.
