I have always been a creative person with a passion for the entertainment industry. Having the opportunity to study at the The Iver Makeup Academy at Pinewood Studios fuelled my passion and determination to work within the industry. I am an energetic team player, I work well under pressure and I’m well organised. I hold a full UK driving licence and I am willing to travel wherever a job may take me.
Work Experience
September 2022- Crowd Junior – Antman and the Wasp Quantumania Additional Photography – Crowd Supervisor Renata Gilbert. Contracted for 3 weeks for prep and filming for dust bunny reshoots. Main duties included completing hair and makeup for fittings and filming, on set cover, assisting main team when required, sourcing products, petty cash management, assets and inventory pack down.
June – August 2022- Main Team Trainee – ‘The Marvels’ Additional Photography- Supervisor Chiara Ugolini Contracted as part of the main team, main duties included: Continuity, making and maintaining budget databases, processing production card receipts, processing petty cash, creating and completing time reports, wig blocking and resetting, wig colouring, co ordinating fittings, sourcing products for Cast #1 artists, assisting hair colourists, creating assets databases, creating inventory databases.
May 2022 – Crowd Junior- Barbie- crowd room daily, main duties included completing full body painting for multiple crowd dancers and stunts to achieve a plastic look and on set cover to maintain the looks.
March – April 2022 – Crowd Trainee – ‘The Meg’ – Crowd Supervisor Sylvia Atkins
Assisted with some large gala crowd scenes, stunt unit filming and main team carnet. Main duties included nail painting, dirtying down, onset cover, taking continuity photos and making them into sheets, assisting the main team and crowd trainees with daily duties such as breakfast runs, bus tidying and kit moving in preparation for unit move to Thailand.
August-November 2021 – Crowd Trainee – Ant-Man – Renata Gilbert – Assisted with prosthetic and bald cap application, on set cover, sourcing stock and makeup requirements, various other crowd room duties including following covid-19 regulations.
May-July 2021 – Crowd Trainee – His Dark Materials- Richard Muller- Assisted in the crowd room on several large crowd days, mainly SFX including dirtying down and sun damage and wig maintenance.
August 2020 – April 2022 Makeup and Hair Designer – LAMDA Student Films. Designed and executed the hair and makeup for over 18 short films/ TV pilots made every semester with full professional crew for the students graduating from LAMDA.
Makeup: Festival style girl band, female office wear, Euphoria’ style makeup, male grooming, SFX including blood, bruising and dirtying down, Victorian inspired hair styles.
August 2020 – Crowd Trainee -The Witcher Season 2 -Katherine Warren – Worked in the crowd room making hair pieces in both real and synthetic hair to build up stock for fittings and shooting. Also assisted with various other crowd room duties including following covid-19 regulations.
November 2019 – January 2020 – Crowd Hair and Makeup Trainee – Venom: Let There be Carnage – Emma Bailey – I worked as the sole contracted crowd trainee. My main duties included creating and maintaining spreadsheets and fittings sheets, preparing for location shoots, sourcing stock and makeup requirements, completing purchase orders, completing makeup looks, coordinating artists and SAs, assisting main team with de-rig and communicating with production.
October – November 2019 – Makeup and Hair Artist- Megalomania- directed by Rex Russell- I worked as a solo makeup artist for 2 days and then as part of a team of 2 for three days on location. The makeups included extravagant festival style makeups on key cast members, as well as wig work and character makeup on supporting cast (Hetty Baynes).
October 2019 – Makeup and Hair Artist- Three Generations- NFTS- directed by Alexander Cartlidge- I worked as part of a team of 3 to design and carry out the makeups for a live filming of a sitcom graduation project. My duties included executing the hair and makeup for 4 cast members and maintaining it during 2.5 hours of filming in front of a live audience.
September 2019 – Makeup and Hair Artist- Sugarbabies- NFTS- directed by Leo Lebeau- I assisted the designer for one day on location. My duties included male camera ready makeup, styling hair and I orchestrated a full wig reveal.
September 2019 – Makeup Artist – Petrichor- BFI funded short film- directed by Louis Jack- I designed and executed the makeup for this short which included self-harm scars on the lead actor (Paul Kaye), male grooming on the supporting actor (Clive Russell) and wig application on the snooker body double.
August 2019- Makeup Designer- Turn Off Your Phone – NFTS- directed by Arnold Voysey- I designed and completed the makeup for a one day shoot for a cinema ‘turn off your phone’ commercial. The job included male grooming and camera ready makeup.
August 2019 – Makeup Artist- City of Children- NFTS- directed by Misha Vertkin- Working with a crowd of 62 children which included dirtying down and tattoo application, both transfers and airbrushing.
June 2019 – Makeup and Hair Designer – Stratum Deep – NFTS- directed by Lian Meng Rose- I designed and executed the makeup and hair for the short, set in a coal mine in the 1980s. The job involved a severe head wound on the lead actor (Thomas Turgoose), dirtying down and working with a crowd of SAs.
May/June 2019 – Makeup and Hair Artist – Nell Gwyn- Questors Theatre Ealing – I was part of a team executing the looks for an amateur dramatic production of Nell Gwyn which included 17th century period wig work and theatrical makeup on a low budget.
May 2019 – Daily Crowd Hair and Makeup Trainee– Morbius – Designed by Jeremy Woodhead, directed by Daniel Espinosa – Trainee on location assisting with the hair and makeup on 200 crowd members and de-rig on the main bus.
March 2019 – Makeup Artist – ‘Devious’ – Metropolitan Film School – Directed by Emilio Martinez Bayona. Working in a team of two, I designed and executed a severe facial injury for a wraith like character. This included the application of a wound piece and colouring to make the facial trauma.
