Paul is a highly respected makeup and hair artist with an impressive career in the film and television industry spanning over four decades. He began his professional journey in 1983, initially working with the BBC, where he gained invaluable experience across their studios in London, Cardiff, and Birmingham before transitioning to a successful freelance career in 1995.

Throughout his career, Paul has contributed to a wide range of critically acclaimed films and television productions, earning multiple prestigious nominations including BAFTA, Critics’ Choice, Hollywood Guild, and Academy Award (Oscar) nominations. He was awarded the BAFTA for Best Hair and Makeup for his outstanding work on Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.

Paul is also known for his long-standing collaborations with A-list actresses such as Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, and Emily Blunt, consistently creating iconic looks for both screen and red carpet.

Alongside his work in film, Paul is passionate about education and passing on his wealth of industry knowledge. When not on set, he teaches at The Iver Academy, where he mentors the next generation of hair and makeup artists with the same dedication and artistry that have defined his own career.
